EBIAC Fridays

On Fridays 10am  - 12 noon we have a pop up advice clinic in partnership with East Belfast Independent Advice Centre.  You don’t have to make an appointment, just pop on down and Hannah can help you with advice on the following:

  • Welfare benefits advice

  • Disability benefit form filling

  • Tribunal Representation

  • Housing Rights

Knit and Natter

Through the Autumn/Winter we keep a table aside for knit and Natter, this is an opportunity to bring your work in progress or learn something new, if you don’t have the wool, needles, or hooks to get started, we’ve got supplies at hand for you to use. During opening times, our space is free for anyone to come in for a cuppa, chat, place to work, draw, stitch or read, but when the cold weather comes along, we’ve some experts at hand.

Summer Thursdays

Come for your shopping, stay for your dinner.

Throughout the winter on Thursday evenings we provide warm food and it turned into a bit of weekly party… So by popular demand we’re keeping that party going through the summer with hot dogs and salads in the Larder garden. Join us from 6pm-8pm, new summer entry is through the side garden and in the back door of the building.

Green Finger Tuesdays

On Tuesdays 10am – 12 noon our fabulous resident gardener Michelle brings all her therapeutic and horticultural experience to our little garden, drop on by to lend a hand or have a chat.  This is a special time to enjoy our green space together and we can almost guarantee it will have a positive effect on your mental health.

St. Christopher's Community

St. Christopher’s community meets on Sundays at 11am for a time of singing, reflection, prayer and fellowship.  We are a welcoming/inclusive space where we explore faith and spirituality regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexuality & disability.    We come from a variety of religious backgrounds.  As we like to say “All are welcome and all of you is welcome.”

We host monthly community meals and we gather informally on other occasions for times of fun and connection.

Current events can be found at their Facebook page.

Contact St. Christopher’s community’s leader, Mike McCann, for further information at 07530335260.
